Ciceley Low

Ringcairn

Ciceley Low North & South, Ringcairns

There isn’t a whole lot to see at this site, but it is unusual because of the close proximity of the two circles to each other. Someone has kindly painted a white ‘I’ on a stone in the western bank of the larger northern circle for identification. They are unusual also, because they have a ditch inside the bank rather than outside. The southern ring does seem to have an entrance in the SSW sector.

Easy to find and easy to access, the two ringcairns are so close together that they are included as one listing because if you find one then you cannot miss the other.
